BITMOJI (SNAPCHAT)

Select storyboards accompanied by their final Bitmoji AR (augmented-reality) animated shorts featuring users’ customizable avatars. Narrative is primarily conveyed through pantomime so anyone can understand. Since the platform limits recordings to one “take” at a time, the boards contain no cuts. To simulate the experience of capturing AR animation on a phone, I use vertical frames to visualize an “ideal” version of the sequence while being mindful of the user’s ability to move the camera in my acting/staging choices.
